Where should I Register my Complaint?

Where should I Register my Complaint?
  1. Even if the crime is committed in an area beyond the limits of any police station, a complainant cannot be forced to go to the concerned police station. You can get your complaint registered at any police station. It is the duty of the police station to send your complaint to concerned police station.
  2. After registering a complaint of a cognizable offence, insist on a copy of FIR, free of cost.
  3. In case of non-cognizable offences, the police do not have a right to investigate the complaint without the orders of the Court. However, your complaint must be recorded and a receipt given at police station.

Sir,

In the morning i get daily traffic update in radio and this news always includes the Jam at Akurli Road. I have been observing for a few months, that this Akurli Road in Kandivali East, Mumbai , is always jammed due to no control on movement of Heavy Vehicles of Mahindra Factory.

There is a rule of NO ENTRY of Heavy Vehicles after 8am on this road. There are 3 to 4 traffic police personnel are posted near the circle of Samta Nagar police station, close to Sports Authority of India Gate and to our surprise, they don't even stop these heavy vehicles after 8am.

I would like to request earnestly and urge the concerned authority to please look into this problem and take immediate action so that the residents of this area should not face un necessary traffic jam due to Heavy Vehicles.

Thanking you,
